Living Our Faith Prayer 

God our Father,
for more than a century
you have blessed your people
in the Diocese of Portsmouth. 

We have endeavoured, by your grace,
to contribute our talents
to building a community of believers
with the Lord Jesus Christ as our foundation.

We ask that
under the guidance of your Holy Spirit
and the patronage of Mary,
Our Blessed Lady Immaculate,
and St Edmund of Abingdon,
you will bless our efforts
to embrace the ‘Living our Faith’ campaign
and so enable us
to grow continually as your people.

We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
One God,
world without end.
