The Hampshire Downs Liturgy Group was created in the autumn of 2008 and is open to co-ordinators of all liturgical ministry groups in the parish.

Meetings take place about once each term and focus on wider issues affecting all our worshipping communities rather than on details which may be specific to each and which can be decided at a local level.

Items at previous meetings have included a presentation and discussion about Advent, to inform our planning and celebrations; and we have been looking at current provision and future plans for recruiting and forming young people for ministry.
We have also begun to look at the Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) in order to give us an understanding to help us to prepare to celebrate them in our communities.

Our next meeting will focus on the new translation of the Roman Missal.
